What if I need software that is not listed in the Software Portal? 

Although we strive to provide the software that the SIU community needs for their professional and academic careers, we also know that the needs are always changing! If you need software that is not listed on this webpage, we would be glad to help you find a solution with the software that is available and/or walk you through the process of getting a license for this new software.

Please note: software that is installed on University equipment must first be vetted by our Information Security team to ensure that it is not only secure to use, but that it will work with our security protocols, University requirements, etc. We cannot guarantee that request(s) for software outside of this list will be fulfilled, but we will assist as much as possible!

SalukiTech can be contacted by e-mail anytime! Emails are generally responded to within 24-48 hours after they have been received. You can e-mail SalukiTech at salukitech@siu.edu.

SalukiTech has an online ticket system where you can submit help requests (tickets) directly to them! If you have never submitted a ticket before, think of it as a form that requests specific details so SalukiTech can provide more specific answers.

You can submit a ticket by going to https://web.tikit.ai/requests in your browser and clicking the “Add Request” button in the top-left corner of the page.

Tickets are generally responded to within 24-48 hours of receiving them.
